Report Details

This is to provide images of the king tide at Tillicum Beach campground, Mile 197. Not a very impressive inundation here. The first two photos are of the N steps down to the beach, the third of the S steps. I was puzzled by the fact that the lowest set of N steps was completely obscured by sand, whereas the week before, the highest step of that set was still visible. This would seem to suggest that the tide had recently come up higher than the king tide did; can't figure out how else the additional sand would have gotten deposited. Help me out here!
