A pleasant afternoon on the mile, warm and almost windless. Only a few beachgoers out. The driftline was unremarkable except for some small invertebrates I'd never seen before (see photo). I noticed one large crack in the bluff, plus ongoing disintegration of a clayey layer. As the tide was coming in rather energetically, I turned around before reaching the end of the mile, with maybe an eighth of a mile to go.

Notable Wildlife
Just a few gulls.
Dead Fish or Invertebrates
Some unfamiliar-to-me invertebrates scattered in the driftline, on average about 0.5" long (see photo). Also some jellyfish of widely varying sizes.
Wrackline Content
Small bits of natural material -- pine needles, beachgrass stems. Otherwise a very clean beach.
Natural Changes
Major cracks appearing in bluffs. Just one major crack observed, but ongoing disintegration of a clayey layer of the bluff.
Invertebrate observed on Tillicum Beach, not in large numbers.
