No significant changes in the amount of erosion of the shoreline or the amount of riprap at north end of mile 193. Yachats Ocean Road, Ocean View Drive, and the house at the north end of mile 193 have not yet washed into the sea.
Number of people: 32. Number of dogs: 8. Other Activities: most sitting or walking, 2 in surf, 1 flying kite. People were just doing what people do on beach-walking, looking out to sea, finding shells or agates, digging holes.

A calm cloudy evening to watch the surfers and a group of photographers at Yachats State rec area.
A single dead sea lion observed on the beach at the Yachats estuary this morning.
Despite significant rain and wind during the night, the sun came out and the morning was quite beautiful.
