Mile 183 Report
North end of Roosevelt Beach, Rock Creek, Rocky Knoll
February 27, 2016
Beach south of Rock Creek.
Report Details
Beach south of Rock Creek. South section (including Rock Creek) erosion now severe. No access to beach because of vertical face of bluff. Drainage makes face muddy. Perhaps this section of 183 could be reached from north shore of Big Creek to the south. If so, could it be added to that mile? Pull off on HWY 101 very dangerous because of wear and lack of visibility of traffic from the north.
Conditions
Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Moderate.
Human Activities
Number of people: 2. Number of dogs: 1. Walking or running: 1. Other Activities: one person not seen.. North Section walker found Japanese float, plastic with part of rope still attached.

Natural Changes
Newly exposed roots/trees falling, Visible retreat of solid bluff. Landslides/major boulder falls; Drainage became waterfall
