Glorious day.
Report Details
Glorious day. Many people on the beach taking advantage of it. We only count going in one direction (COASST) as we are looking closely for dead birds and changes. There were likely more than 18 people, and we could see more in the distance, as this beach connects to Washburn Beach and there are a number of access points within a one mile stretch.
Conditions
Temperature: 60 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 2.0 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 18. Number of dogs: 2. Walking or running: 15. Photography: 2. It was a beautiful day so a lot of people were out enjoying our glorious beaches. A couple of men from Eugene I spoke to were looking for Tsunami debris. A couple was looking for agates in the bluff rocks as there is an area here where cobble is exposed in a large layer of the bluff.

Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Styrofoam, Wood pieces. we picked up about half a white trash bag full of garbage today

no signs left (other than a channel in the bluff) of steps noted in October, and commented on again last month.
