I've seen a major deterioration of the north jetty.
Report Details
I've seen a major deterioration of the north jetty. Whereas in 2001 small rocks would be moved during severe storms,I'm now seeing 20-40 ton rocks breaking up after just a hi-tide. Also untill the rip-rap project was seeing sea anenomies way up river form where they were in 2001. But they're gone since the rip-rap.
Conditions
Temperature: 30 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Tide Level: 0.0 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 8. Walking or running: 6. Other Activities: cutting up driftwood. What should I do about people cutting driftwood and driving in the river estuary? I tell'em that I don't think it's allowed. they tell me it is. Should I take a picture of their license plate and send it to you?
