Very obvious cleanup of debris from the recent storm. I understand surf riders did the cleanup. Excellent job!There is a huge amount of wood washed up on the beach behind the north jetty from the Siuslaw River.Lots of it being taken away by people.On the rocks just up-stream from the park there is a huge dock that is almost intact. I'm sure it came down stream in the recent storm.Three pickups on the jetty were obviously waiting for the surf to be just right for surfing. Each truck contained surf boards.

Apparent violations: Several of the folks walking were checking through the piles of driftwood left by the recent storm..Vehicles

A few gulls along the surf line.Five sea stars just above the tide line.

Total dead birds: 1. Plover
Driftline Content
Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Shells, Small rocks. Drift line was very clean, much cleaner than usual.

Seals were out.

Due to the low tide found a ship, cart rails, cart wheels and axles from old wharf rail system.

It was another beautiful sunset on the north jetty.

A mill pond boat and large concrete block washed up on the suislaw river bank, 1 mile up from ocean near the seal beach.

Watching new rip-rap project, wild life seems to be recovering ok.
