Mile 169 - North end Siuslaw South Jetty Road - April 9, 2015

Report Details

Light breeze from the north on a sunny, almost warm day. A few clouds on the northern horizon.More people on the beach than previously observed. Still not too much activity in this mile. There were more people with one surfer beyond my mile near the jetty.Sparse Small rocks and broken clam shells at the tide line. Very little litter....There was a small broken plastic box that may have been part of the tsunami...see the attached photo of the mussels (1 to 1 1/2 inches long)
