Mile 169 - North end Siuslaw South Jetty Road - March 31, 2018

Beautiful, sunny, windy Easter weekend day at the coast. Birds couldn't compete with the wind...didn't see one bird on this walk. Human generated debris also couldn't compete with the wind...didn't notice any trash...it evidently was all blown away. There was less than normal small rocks and broken clam shells plus a few beached jelly fish and crab casings noted this walk.Notice the ratio of vehicles to people. There was a large concentration of people just north of the boundry of Mile 170 nearer to the South Jety. Also, seems that all the dune buggy parking lots before getting to the south jety (and Mile 169) were filled to capacity with lots of activity in the designated off road areas. Only one set of tire tracks noted in this mile.
