Mile 16 - Boardman SP, Natural Bridges, Miner Cr, Deer Pt, Arch Rock - June 26, 2009

This is the section of Mile 16 in Sam Boardman Park I call Thunder Rock Cove viewpoint North. Little human activity can take place here other than trail maintenance. The day was very sunny but windy. I noticed a group of about 20 below in the cove at the bottom of Minor Creek. They looked like a summer class. When I returned to TRCVN parking area, a bus was turning around to go north. I believe it had picked up the students at the top of Minor Creek, come south to the TRCVN parking area to turn around to go north. Other than that nothing unusual was observed along the trail or observed below in the coves.

Number of people: 20. Number of dogs: 1. Walking or running: 20. Other Activities: they looked like a class. A group of about 20 were in the cove area at the bottom of Minor Creek. They looked like a summer class. I believe a private schoolbus picked them up at the top of Miner Creek. I saw the bus when it turned around to go north as I was leaving the parking area at the Thunder Rock Cove Viewpoint.
