This is the section of Mile 16 in Sam Boardman Park I call Spruce Island Viewpoint South that includes Deer Point. Little human activity can take place here other than trail maintenance. The ocean was very choppy with sandy brown upwelling near shore due to the strong winds and rainstorms. No beach areas were observed in any of the coves. Due to the strong winds and rainstorms, no human activities, shoreline wildlife, or notable changes were observed.

Not a lot of garbage on the the Natural trail, but the Arch Rock trail did have quite a few plastic bottles and pop cans.
