The only unusual siting today was a bird carcass on the dunes.

The only unusual siting today was a bird carcass on the dunes. I assume it's a raven. I also removed a large beer bottle that was left alongside the trail, but it was in an area near the highway. Other areas of the trail were trash-free.

Temperature: 55 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: N. Tide Level: 1.5 feet.

Total dead birds: 1. Appeared to be a raven. Head and much of torso was missing. It was in the dunes area.
