There was alot of trash on the beach.

There was alot of trash on the beach. I removed some and the SOLV work party on March 28th removed alot. The logs and debris pile up at any indentation to the shoreline, especially to the north halfway to 10 Mile Creek. Thanks to the folks with ATVs who helped with the SOLV Day,couldn't have done it without them!Very quiet on this beach visit with regard to any creatures or birds. Shells, kelp/algae (Bull Kelp), small rocks and wood pieces, many tiny jellies, one large jelly in driftline. Erosion of vegetated foredune. Moderate human impact (8)-walking. One dog.

On the last day of the year, the full sun, light wind and low tide in late afternoon made for a beautiful day at Horsfall Beach.
