Lovely calm day at low tide.
Report Details
Lovely calm day at low tide. Beach was quite empty of wood or debris. Small shell deposits periodically and nice hydraulics at sandbars. Very little garbage! Beach looked good. Sand being deposited against foredunes. Osprey flew overhead with a fresh catch. Broke stems of thistle on beach access path, to prevent seed formation and spreading. Ten people on the beach walking, playing in sand or sitting.14 ATV and one vehicle on allowed beach.

On the last day of the year, the full sun, light wind and low tide in late afternoon made for a beautiful day at Horsfall Beach.
