We saw the calm after the storm.

We saw the calm after the storm...there were many logs, kelp and wood debris on the beach against the foredune, which had collapsed in places. Shells, animal casings, kelp/algae, small rocks, wood, ocean-based debris and Styrofoam in driftline. No animals, no birds, happy people a-plenty (13 people walking and 4 people sitting) Four dogs.A gorgeous day at the beach. Nice waves too.

Temperature: 56 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 3.5 feet.

On the last day of the year, the full sun, light wind and low tide in late afternoon made for a beautiful day at Horsfall Beach.
