Mile 112 - Agate Beach, Threemile Creek, south Sacchi Beach - September 12, 2010

Report Details

This was a lovely morning. No one else was the beach. An area of major rock fall was documented and photographed. Bottles, lines,and parts of a large float and 5 gallon jerry can were removed. There were a large number of seaweed clumps and mussels as well as shells, ocean-based debris and Styrofoam at the wrackline.

Temperature: 56 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: S. Tide Level: 1.2 feet.

Actions & Comments

Picked up bottles, some pieces of line, the float and can pieces. These were taken to Seven Devils Wayside.In mid-August there were two major rock falls at N43.15.468, W124.23.214. Three new areas of seepage were behind the rock face.
