A mild, unremarkable day on Agate and Sacchi beaches. Kelp/algae, small rocks, wood pieces, plastic pellets, plastic confetti, land-based debris and Styrofoam blown high into the driftwood. The past six months has been remarkable for the lack of debris. Neighbors reported major driftwood removal in early December. A pickup truck went on the beach for the wood. Chainsaws were used. The people removing the wood claimed to have a permit from Oregon Parks and Recreation.
