Report Details

FIRST REPORT: We have been walking miles 256 and 257 for four years and cleaning, particularly mile 257. In those years there was a brief period of heavy tsunami debris, including a Japanese refrigerator and a very large float identified as being from a Japanese fish processing dock. Representatives from Japan at the recent tsunami conference identified bottles which we had collected as being from China, Russia, Korea, Japan, and Formosa. In the last two weeks there have been relatively few debris, almost no Styrofoam. Today, a little more, about 3/4 of a SOLV bag and a large top to a cooler.
