Normal human and dog activity for this time of year. Spring migration of birds underway--whimbrels on the beach, geese overhead. A bright red sea star, Pacific henricia, seen in a tidepool earlier this week. Lots of crab shell fragments in drift line. Recent erosion of the bluff noticed. A private concrete staircase down the bluff has been added near Deer Creek, approved after being built, State Parks permit BA-683-12.
