Aside from the tunnel-like trail situation in the draw just north of the dunes (see photo), there are no apparent problems.

Aside from the tunnel-like trail situation in the draw just north of the dunes (see photo), there are no apparent problems. And State Parks rangers whom I notified may work on the section of trail in need of pruning.

Temperature: 65 F. Cloud Cover: Foggy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 4.0 feet.

Natural Changes
Trail in draw north of dunes needs heavy pruning.
Actions & Comments
Sitka spruce is overgrowing trail in this area, creating a tunnel-like situation. I did some pruning, but it needs more, much more. I told two part-time State Parks rangers (Tim & Thomas) who I met at main parking area, and they may do the work.

There was nothing unusual to report, despite that many footprints in the cliffside dunes indicate lots of recent visitors.

The only unusual siting today was a bird carcass on the dunes.
