Report Details

Holiday weekend with good weather brought out a lot of people. 20 surfers at Hubbard Creek! Very few vehicles and fewer dogs than usual. The beach was clean. There were many more dead birds than I've ever seen on this beach. There was very little trash, but next to the small stream closest to Hubbard Creek there was some plastic debris: 4 18" sections of plastic gutter mounted on plywood and some black plastic pipe. The prospector from last summer?

May 13, 2023

This was an exceptionally warm Saturday so there were more people on the beach than I usually see but everyone was well behaved and loving the rare chance to be on the beach (and even a few brave souls in the water) without multiple layers of coats.
