Although this stretch of coastline is remarkable in itself, nothing of moment to report this time. Mussel Creek has again altered southward, where it now opens. Must be waded for beach access. Waiting for warm weather to encourage the plentiful vegetation to bloom!

Temperature: 50 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 0.7 feet.

Number of people: 2. Walking or running: 2. Minimal impact noticed -- very little beach or marine-based debris.

2 pair of adult BLOY, immature Bald Eagle, Gold Finches, TV, GBH, Canada Geese (6), barn swallows, violet-green swallows,, kildeer

Total dead birds: 1. adult WEGU

Small rocks.

Stairway no longer in violation
Natural Changes
Erosion of vegetated foredune, Visible retreat of solid bluff.

The mile could not be accessed from Arizona Beach -- Mussel Creek was impassable; the southern access from Frankport site was flooded, we parked in the area south of that.
