This usually pristine, wild mile was wrought with human activity this day. Rogue sheep not seen except for the remains of one, replaced by horses bearing riders; a new trail for access across rocky area, and OHV track.Beach bummer!

Number of people: 21. Number of dogs: 7. Walking or running: 11. Playing in sand: 2. Sitting: 3. Other Activities: 5 on horseback. Commercial operation, Sweet Horse Rides, stationed at former Arizona Beach Motel site, conducting horseback rides. Horse pucky litters beach.

The mile could not be accessed from Arizona Beach -- Mussel Creek was impassable; the southern access from Frankport site was flooded, we parked in the area south of that.
