California sea lions in large numbers off shore.

Cloud Cover: Sunny.
Notable Wildlife
numerous large rafts of California sea lions just beyond breakers and to the horizon. Am I wrong - is it another species? Have never seen anything like it. There are up to 200 animals visible at the moment. Please confirm if I am mistaken and these are not CSLs. thanks.

During the fall quarter we have experienced some storms and there was an episode where driftwood came on the beach, but it was sparse.
