This was a perfect fall day. Lots of people were taking advantage of the beautiful weather. The beach was relatively clean with dog poop being the only negative. There was a lot of sand & not very much litter. The only places where use was extremely heavy was adjacent to Tolovana Park & Inn.

Number of people: 200. Number of dogs: 50. Walking or running: 100. Playing in surf: 50. Playing in sand: 50. Sitting: 50. Surfing: 1. Tolovana Park was full of cars & RVs. Tolovana Inn looked full as well.

Concerns

Apparent violations: Many people not picking up after their dogs. Quite a lot of dog poop on the beach..
