Apparent violations: Some little was apparent and we picked it all up, which is a major priority for this group!.

Notable Wildlife

There was actually a noticeable lack of wildlife today, and we only spotted one seagull and one black bird that we could not readily identify.

Actions & Comments

Waves were quite vigorous today, despite the lack of wind. One student also commented on the yellowish foam in the waves closest to shore. We looked it up and the NOAA website said that it is algal blooms and that they are harmless to humans and are actually a sign of a "productive ocean ecosystem."
