Ocean debris surveys were being conducted on mile 307. Other people were enjoying the sunny and windy weather.About 50 pelicans were on or near Gull Rock.This is the third year that the sand levels have continued to rise.

There were about 50 brown pelicans on Gull Rock. Some of them were on the beach until people came near them.

It was a very nice day.

The wrack line contained small (2-4") crab casings, clam shells and broken sand dollars. There was a small land slide near a house drain line - see picture. The sand level was low on the north end of mile 307 which leaves the rocks uncovered.

Other than the wheel and tire, the beach was very clean.
