The erosion/movement of the small rocks on the shore line was more severe than normal. This action was caused by the large swells, large waves and high tides.
Conditions
Temperature: 49 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 8.4 feet.
Natural Changes
Landslides/major boulder falls.
Actions & Comments
There was some bank erosion on the south end of mile 307.Many of the small rocks on the south end of mile 307 were moved by the ocean leaving the underlying clay exposed to the ocean waves. A dead sea lion washed onto the rocks in December.

The wrack line contained small (2-4") crab casings, clam shells and broken sand dollars. There was a small land slide near a house drain line - see picture. The sand level was low on the north end of mile 307 which leaves the rocks uncovered.

Other than the wheel and tire, the beach was very clean.
