It was a nice afternoon on the beach. There were ten people walking on the beach.I saw 5 dead birds on the beach. I only walked about 1/4 mile on mile 307. I learned later that the birds were cassins auklets.I saw two oyster catchers.

Temperature: 56 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: S. Tide Level: -1.1 feet.

Number of people: 10. Walking or running: 10.

The wrack line contained small (2-4") crab casings, clam shells and broken sand dollars. There was a small land slide near a house drain line - see picture. The sand level was low on the north end of mile 307 which leaves the rocks uncovered.
