Pleasant cloudy morning on the beach at low tide, saw good number of sea stars. Increasing numbers of people during the 1 hour on the beach, most either tide pooling or surfing. Report by North Coast Land Conservancy staff - spear fisherman seen recently on the rocks, photo to come.

Apparent violations: Signs of old fire in sand near trail to parking lot. Man with an unleashed dog climbing on the rocks near where Oystercatchers were foraging. Report from North Coast Land Conservancy staff of spear fisherman seen recently in prohibited area..Disturbances: Shorebirds moving in response to humans/dogs
