Beach scoured from high tides and stormsRecent king tides have moved large trunk/root north about 300 yds to lie in line with the milepost marker. Same trunk now has root system facing south (change from west facing).
Conditions
Temperature: 46 F. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 6.3 feet.
Activities
Number of people: 7. Number of dogs: 1. Walking or running: 4. Sitting: 2.
Other Activities: 1 in dunes observing ocean with binoculars. One dog off leash but no wildlife to harass.

noticeably absent.
Wrackline Content
Small rocks, Wood pieces. shore scoured from storm day prior. More medium sized driftwood at base of dune line than usually seen large trunk/root system present on beach for years moved north about 300 yds in recent king tides and changed position (see photos)
Natural Changes
at southern most end of mile there are rocks which are often spread across the beach now forming a natural riprap against the dune edge

A windy and cloudy day with storms threatening Very little human activity and birds were few , likely sheltering The small "dune" formation around the roots of the Sea Rocket persisted in spite of high tides and storms

A partially cloudy day once the marine layer lifted. Excited to see large flock of sanderlings feeding at high tide line then putting on an aerial show for me Noticing early "dune" formation around roots of sea rocket
