Number of people: 20. Number of dogs: 5. Sitting: 2. Photography: 2. Fishing: 5. Other Activities: 11. Little or none of litter seemed to be of local origin. Litter consisted of various forms of plastic debris coated with numerous forms of attached sea life. Much of the debris appeared to have originated from commercial fishing operations. A cracked blue container showed that it originally contained hydrogen peroxide.

Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.), Styrofoam, Wood pieces.

There have been numerous inquiries at the planning office. "Everything is entirely legal" is response given to all. The cottage directly to the south of the construction site was required to have a somewhat trapezoidal deck because of encroachment into wetland area between cottage and beach. That concern seems to have vanished. (See picture)We picked up an abundance of ocean-based plastic trash. (See picture) Nevertheless, SOLVE picked up the following day and got a much larger pile of debris. They may have wandered farther from the parking lot than we did. The SOLVE collection was promptly picked up later that day.
