Mile 285 Report
Bayocean Peninsula, Cape Meares community and Lake
September 25, 2020
From memory.
Report Details
From memory.....lots of people in groups, beautiful day.....nothing unusual except the crowds.
Conditions
Tide Level: 3.2 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 36. Number of dogs: 10. This is from memory! I must not have saved my original report correctly. The beach was warm and really crowded. Several groups.....no masks, no distancing.....it was a great day and with no school, this has become a great place to go to. The parks folks were driving on the beach and stopped to chat. They were also surveying Bayocean road. Besides the number of people, there didn’t seem to be any issues environmentally.
