It was a warm and beautiful day! The beach was clean and everyone was enjoying it. Waves were large and beautiful. There was not much to clean up, which was heartening.

Temperature: 62 F. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: N. Tide Level: 2.6 feet.

Notable Wildlife
One dead bird. Two seals near the shore (1M out) in the crashing waves. Waves were 8 to 12 feet tall.

Total dead birds: 1.
Driftline Content
Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Land-based debris (picnics, etc.). The beach was clean, except one tire and a couple Dungeness crab shells. The styrofoam is gone for the most part.

Beautiful day with pelicans fishing the surf , seagulls on the beach , little trash compared to same time last year.
