Driftline Content

Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Styrofoam, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). There was a lot of kelp on the beach, probably from the large waves here this last week. A few crab casings. Lots on bottle tops, shot gun wads, green pieces of plastic, one buoy. We had a full trash bag when we returned to the lot.
