No major beach issues noted as people were primarily walking and exploring the rocky shore.

No major beach issues noted as people were primarily walking and exploring the rocky shore. However, significant erosion noted on the south side of Cascade Head bluffs. Was pleasantly surprised to see both giant and bull kelp in the close-in deep pools.

Generally, the sand and driftwood have been washed out by heavy surf, but in some areas sand has built up.

Exposed loose rock and bedrock on beach; cause assumed to be sand washed off beach due to heavy surf over previous days/weeks.
