My son crossed over the rocky Point at the north end of Roads End Mile 245 and found what looks like the remains of a boat: large pieces of fiberglass, oil can and a boat battery.

My son crossed over the rocky Point at the north end of Roads End Mile 245 and found what looks like the remains of a boat: large pieces of fiberglass, oil can and a boat battery. Japanese writing was evident. Sorry, no pictures.Reported to DisasterDebris@noaa.gov with the hope that someone can get back there during low tide and remove the battery.

Generally, the sand and driftwood have been washed out by heavy surf, but in some areas sand has built up.

Exposed loose rock and bedrock on beach; cause assumed to be sand washed off beach due to heavy surf over previous days/weeks.
