Report Details
Not much to report. Pleasant fall day. One fisherman + one family on the Salishan Spit. Several fishing/crabbing boats in Siletz Bay and the river mouth. Collected a small amount of debris.Someone left a sleeping bag on the trail from the parking lot, near the sign that says "do not disturb the seals". Thought someone was camping there but there were no other personal possessions around. We couldn't haul it out. For some reason, I can't seem to upload the picture.

Not a bad fall day for a walk with our out-of-town visitors, but walking the beach was impossible due to the high tide and big waves, which were reaching the beach grass area and bouncing large pieces of driftwood around.
