Lovely, calm day.

Lovely, calm day. Hard-packed sand. Feathers were tangled up in every kelp pile (which were numerous) along the driftline.

Very few birds; a couple of gulls, crows.

Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Shells, Small rocks, Styrofoam, Wood pieces. feathers. lots of feathers. from 2" - 15"

Erosion repairs have been completed; no heavy equipment on the beach

Storm damage for this mile seems mostly at Laurel/Sijota; Morris Excavation has built a roadbed parallel to the bluff for equipment access; some erosion at World Mark, north of state park.
