Fogarty Creek Beach appeared to be in good shape with return of the sand.
Report Details
Fogarty Creek Beach appeared to be in good shape with return of the sand. Waiting to see if Sea Stars return to previous numbers. Had a funnel cloud develop around 0930 before skies cleared. Attaching photos of funnel, observed sea stars, beach comparison from Feb. to this day, and sea star wasting photos taken in 2014.
Conditions
Temperature: 50 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 0.4 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 10. Walking or running: 10. Tidepooling: 4. People were generally walking on the beach area with several collecting agates.

Notable Wildlife
Observed 7 sea stars. All appeared healthy. One was about half the size of the other six so was obviously younger. Number of stars has been greatly diminished from previous years.

Beach was amazingly clean with return of sand
Actions & Comments
In February observed that the sand had been pretty much eroded off the beach. Very little sand then. On this day the beach has returned to previous depth.
