Sunny day before a series of storms arrives. Lots of people (102) on beach. Major activities were walking (39 people) and dog-walking (37 people w/ 22 dogs). Not much washed up on beach, natural or artificial. 1 dead common loon, and 1 weak but alive western x glaucous-winged gull. Many live western x glaucous-winged gulls, plus some small flying shorebirds I wasn't able to identify.

Eight total lures were seen, all of them glittery with an orangish hue.

Sea lion corpse, seven dead birds, the rubber fishing lures, much fishing rope, decomposed jellies, and copious amounts of marine and land debris were all notable observations.

Took photos of all dead birds, as well as live birds/jellyfish, and some trash and sky
