This is a routine survey report as there was no activity or change noted except for the annual NW wind driven build-up of sand on the upper beach.Dead birds as noted in the regular weekly surveys I do on this section of beach, have been relatively scarce this year.

Conditions

Temperature: 57 F. Cloud Cover: Foggy. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 5.0 feet.

Number of people: 2. Number of dogs: 2. One house on bluff was being remolded, No impact on public area

Apparent violations: None`.

Upper beach built up with sand to about 8 foot level

Actions & Comments

NoVery little debris of any kind on the beach as I observed only 5 bottles/cans, 2 pieces of litter and no styrofoam. There were numerous single pieces of kelp, but only 3 small clumps.Beach gradient, north end was 1 foot in 21 feet.
