Mile 209 - Ona Beach north of Beaver Creek, Tracy Creek - March 20, 2019

Report Details

15 people observed, all walking along beach, some with dogs. No one in water or tidepools. Minimal wildlife observed, none dead. A few crows and seagulls walking on ground. This was my first report so unsure what, if anything, has changed. Did not appear to be any brand new construction of houses or stairways down to beach. One small area of possible recent erosion/fall of a cliff.

Temperature: 53 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: S. Tide Level: -0.7 feet.

Number of people: 15. Number of dogs: 4. Walking or running: 15. Photography: 1. All people walking with or without dogs, no unusual activity.

Cars/trucks parking: 4.

Notable Wildlife

Crows, Seagulls in normal amounts

Driftline Content

Small rocks, Shells, Wood pieces. Beach had very low amount of litter/trash/man-made items

New Development

First report as coast watcher, unsure what is new.

Natural Changes

Small section of cliff looked like it fell recently, because there was a break in the vegetation line on both sides, exposing sand/dirt only with no vegetation.
