The beach was smooth from north to south with gradient seaward on the north end of 1 foot in 24 and of 1 foot in 27 feet at Wandemere.

The beach was smooth from north to south with gradient seaward on the north end of 1 foot in 24 and of 1 foot in 27 feet at Wandemere. Considerable sand was blown to higher beach. Six rough-winged swallows were at the nesting site in the bluff just north of the Wandemere trail to the beach.
