Actions & Comments
No action taken. In 3 or 4 locations there were blocks of material of 100 or more cubic yards that have fallen from the high portions of the beach bluff that have not been previously reported. At one small creek mouth location it was evident that a washout had occurred putting dirt and older glass bottles - no plastic material - on the beach and eroding 2 to 3 feet into the sand on the beach. The water must have ponded and then breached the damming, but it wasn't clear where/how that occurred. The beach gradient was steep due to building sand on the high beach with slopes of 1 foot on 15 feet to 1 on 18 feet.
