It was a beautiful, sunny day, with a mild breeze.

It was a beautiful, sunny day, with a mild breeze. Lots of families were on the beach, picnicking, playing frisbee, walking, and fishing. I noticed some dead sand crabs in the shore debris, and a few bits of fishing line and plastic bags. Some of the cliffs had carvings in the sandstone, and there was some erosion under the carvings.

Most people were enjoying a rare warm day at the beach. There were lots of families, several groups of fishermen, nothing unusual going on.

The only birds on the beach were seagulls and crows. One section had seagrass growing on the rocks (see photo), and some kelp had washed up.

There were some dead sand crabs in the wrack.

Visible retreat of solid bluff, Landslides/major boulder falls.
Actions & Comments
Some of the cliffs had erosion, and I noticed carving in the sandstone in a few places where there was erosion. I took some photos.

Not much happening on this beach except human invasive use (driving on beach)

Ona beach is now buried in sand - come winter this will be pulled off again.

Most notable is the extent to which large chuncks of the cliff have worked loose.
