Ona beach is now buried in sand - come winter this will be pulled off again.

Ona beach is now buried in sand - come winter this will be pulled off again. People impact of defacing cliff and driving on the beach is disheartening. Would that we could afford signage to encourage respect and inform about people impact. This seems to only be a concern with the summer visitors. Considerable cliff erosion noted.

Cloud Cover: Sunny. Tide Level: 2.2 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 35. Walking or running: 30. Fishing: 3. Other Activities: 2 vans from OMSI were parked at Ona - about 20 people. 4-wheel activity on beach just off Curtis Street - photo included
Concerns
Climbing bluffs/seastacks
Apparent violations: carved graffiti in face of cliff - photos included.Vehicles
Driftline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Styrofoam.
Natural Changes
Major cracks appearing in bluffs, Visible retreat of solid bluff.
