Notable Wildlife

very little seaweed but portions of jellyfish were present in the seafoam and surfline in round bits the size of a quarter.

Actions & Comments

This week the State Park Service Crew had cleaned the park area removing a few small downed trees and cleaned up trash from under bushes it looks great.

It was a minus tide this cloudy morning and I could see a large group of pelicans off in the distance at Alsea Bay.

I was anxious to visit Mile 200 this week to see if there were tar deposits or any struggling birds due to the reported tar substance washing up on Oregon beaches.
