It was cool and breezy and the fog bank limited visibility of the ocean much past the surf. But many people were out enjoying this special environment! Happy 50th Birthday Oregon Shores Conservation Coalition!

Pelagic cormorants, gulls, raft of surf scoters, 1 black oystercatcher, 1 killdeer
Wrackline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings or molts, Wood pieces, Marine debris, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). Overall, not much litter today. Birthday wrapping paper found above the driftline and a few small paper items and wrappers. One box of unused firewood found just south of the The Adobe [see photos].
