A pleasant day at the mile with people collecting trash. One woman collected a rock.Two hundred gulls.Pyrosomes and a jelly fish were on the shore line.

There were pyrosomes washing ashore. There were dead sand fiddlers in the wrack line.There was the head of a large jellyfish at least eight inches across and three inches thick.The tentacles were gone.There were two hundred gulls on Muriel Ponsler beach. Some were California, western gulls and ring billed gulls.

The wrack line contained feathers, rocks, pieces of shells, a piece of rope, a piece of foam and a piece of a float. There is evidence of waves under cutting the bushes on the dune, retreat of the dunes and wave over topping.

The entry way to Muriel Ponsler has been enhanced by a load of gravel that was placed in the entry way ditch. There were a lot of sand filling in the beach which is usual in the summer.
